ABOUT CVYCA
Cumberland Valley Youth Cheer Association (CVYCA) is a youth recreational cheerleading league serving in our community. CVYCA offers a unique cheerleading program that allows all interested children to be cheerleaders. Our association has a "no-cut" policy and offers different levels of participation depending on age, level of interest, experience, and skill level.
CVYCA offers this youth cheerleading program to residents in Cumberland Valley School District, as well as other districts as well, for the following age groups:
- Rookies: 6 and under with no cheer experience
- Energy: 6 and under with prior cheer experience
- Envy/Epic: 8 and under
- Extreme/Explosion: 10 and under
- Elite: 12 and under
- Express: 7 and older
- Game Day Cheer (non-competitive cheer at football games)

OUR MISSION
Cumberland Valley Youth Cheer Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to:
- Acquaint participants with the basic skills, techniques, and fundamentals of cheerleading.
- Provide a safe environment in which children can learn, grow, and have fun.
- Promote physical fitness and safety first participation.
- Build self-esteem, self-confidence, and a feeling of accomplishment.
- Develop personal integrity, discipline, and cooperation.
- Provide an opportunity for age-appropriate teams to cheer for a recreational sport and to compete.
- Instill a sense of community service, community pride, and community spirit.
