CHEER TEAMS
CVYCA offers a unique cheerleading program that allows all interested children to be cheerleaders. We have a "no-cut" policy and offer different levels of participation depending on age, level of interest, experience, and skill level.

2025 Red & White Rookie Teams
Ages 6 and under with no cheer experience (introduction to cheerleading). This non-competitive program is a 15-week fall program.
Cheerleaders cheer at CVMFA home football games, as well as participate in 1 showcase and 1 competition.
2025 Energy Team
Ages 6 and under with prior cheer experience. This competitive program runs August through December.
Cheerleaders cheer at CVMFA home football games, as well as participate in a showcase and multiple competitions.
2025 Epic Team
Ages 8 and under. This competitive program runs August through December.
Cheerleaders cheer at CVMFA home football games. They also participate in a showcase as well as local and non-local competitions.
2025 Ember Team
Ages 8 and under. This competition prep team cheers August though December.
Cheerleaders cheer at CVMFA home football games and playoff games, as well as participate in a showcase and some local competitions.
2025 Explosion Team
Ages 10 and under. This competitive program runs August through December.
Cheerleaders cheer at CVMFA home football games. They also participate in a showcase as well as local and non-local competitions.
2025 Elite Team
Ages 12 and under. This competitive program runs August through December.
Cheerleaders cheer at CVMFA home football games. They also participate in a showcase as well as local and non-local competitions.
2025 Evolution Team
Ages 12 and under. This competition prep team runs August into November.
Cheerleaders cheer at CVMFA home football games and playoff games, as well as participate in a showcase and some local competitions.
2025 Express Team
No specific age. This Sideline team exclusively cheers at CVFMA home football games for 15 weeks (August into November).
Cheerleaders cheer at all CVMFA home football games, 2 playoff games, and 1 Super Bowl game in November as well as participate in a showcase.
